Hello and Welcome to Kiddie Kickers!
Your teams will all be posted shortly.
For those that are new to this program, this will help answer some of your questions.
Kiddie kickers play ever Thursday night at Eastdale School, and usually start at 6:30 with a 20 to 30 minute practice and then a 30 minute game. Your first day on the pitch, will be Thursday May 20. We ask that you are there by 6:15, as the kids are introduced to their coaches, and recieve their team shirt, before beginning their first practice. no game will be played on the first night, so save you cameras for week 2.
All games / practices are played on a half field. Coaches will be on the field with the players, as will a junior referee. If your child requires your support, or hand, during the first week or so on the pitch, your are more then welcome to do so.
The schedule will be posted shortly, and you should be aware that there are no games scheduled for July 1st, and on July 15th, we start at 6:15 so that everyone can still have time to view the Fall Fair parade.
Your last night will be July 29th.
As for equipment, the kids are asked to wear shin guards, and not to wear earrings, and peaked caps. Good fitting running shoes are a must, and soccer shoes are optional.
For those wondering what a pitch is...it is the soccer field.
