Success at first practice
Thanks for a great first practice
Last night was fun for me and I hope everyone else. Even though the skates are still in the hallway it was good to see our soccer season start. Work on your ball skills at home. Remember it is important to control the ball, speed is not important. I understand our next practice is indoors also, so please remember indoor shoes, water, and shin guards. (I do not know when, but think it is likley in 2 weeks)
Parents, please consider being a coach, helper. After a few games it gets pretty easy and its more fun than just watching. I will have better organization for the practices in a couple weeks so that each week is a lot of repeat and maybe something new. I would also welcome any students that have soccer skills. Their help does qualify as volunteer hours.
