First game a win...and fun
We played well for the first game of the season and had a great time also.
We found the long grass a challenge for ball speed that we were use to from the easy rooling floor inside.
It was great to see all the passing and good ball control.
Our two goalies played well and made a lot of important saves.
We need to work on positions a bit and our listening skills need some help. Players should focus on the game on the field or off the field.
A round of applause for the parents. They already have great cheering skills.
I look forward to having a fun filled season.
Special thanks to my assistant coach for her assistance. She will assist when she can as part of her school volunteer hours. I understand she has played soccer almost her entire life and can bring many of her skills to the team.
Finally, next week is at 6:30 Eastdale agains Listowel Team 5. Short practice to get ready for the game at 7.
