Wow! What an exciting end to our season. Although we lost our last game by just one goal, I was very proud of our players. The sportsmanship they showed was noted by the coaches of the other team (both in our wins and our one playoff loss). Thank you for everyone attending games and letting me know when you could not make a game. It makes planning for the games a lot easier. Hopefully all players had a fun year and learned some more about soccer and team sports. I asked the returning U8 players to teach others next year how to do throw ins properly and hopefully the U10s next year are set for positions and passing. Thank you to Mike and Duane for helping with practises and coaching.

We were hoping the thunder/lightning would pass last night (June 17) by game time and it did. For the next time weather is questionable, I will try to post on our website if we are cancelling. Best to presume the game is on. If it is a home game, we can practise if the other team does not show up and there is no lightning / thunder.
Thanks for a great game on Tuesday. Improvement in our passing is really starting to show.

We have a couple of outdoor practises booked before our league schedule is posted. Please remember to wear your soccer cleats if you have them as well as shin pads for all practises and games.
If you cannot make a practise or game, please let me know (email or call) before so I know if we have enough players. This is especially important for games, but also considerate for practises as well.
